Meet Tony

First elected to the House of Delegates in a 2010 special election, Tony is currently serving his seventh full term. Following the most recent redistricting, he currently represents the 34th District, which includes all of Harrisonburg City and a portion of Rockingham County. In Rockingham County, the district spans from Singers Glen in the west, through the Town of Elkton, to the Blue Ridge Parkway in the east.

In the House, he is the prior Chairman and ranking member of the Public
Safety Committee; he also serves on the Labor and Commerce Committee; and the
Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources Committee. In addition to these
committee assignments, Tony serves as a member of the Joint Legislative Audit
and Review Commission (JLARC), the Secure and Resilient Commonwealth Panel, and
the Emergency Committee on Federal Funding and Workforce Reductions. 

Tony is a life-long Shenandoah Valley resident who lives just south of Broadway. He is a retired small business owner, past president of the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Chamber of Commerce, an active Ruritan and a past Zone Three Governor for the Ruritan’s in Rockingham County. He currently serves as a leader in his church, Truth and Grace Ministries. He is also a life member of the National Rifle Association. Tony and his wife, Vickie, have been married for 40 years and have two grown children.
