Wilt Wins Reelection

November 3, 2021

Harrisonburg, VA ā€“ Delegate Tony Wilt has won re-election to the 26th District of the Virginia House of Delegates following a long and tumultuous campaign. While some votes are still being counted, the Delegate has secured a decisive victory in the 2021 election.

Delegate Wilt said ā€œI greatly appreciate everyone who came out to vote today, for their participation in the system that leads our great Republic. The people have given us a complete mandate to reign back the dangerous and chaotic policies being pushed in Richmond. Chaos in our schools, defunding the police, drastic increases to the cost of living. These outcomes of the 2019 and 2020 election are incredibly unpopular and the folks in the Valley have sent that message. Iā€™m eager to get down to Richmond to start fixing the mess that has been created.ā€

Tony Wilt is a businessman in Harrisonburg, who resides with his wife at their home in Broadway. He was first elected in 2010 and currently serves on the Agriculture Chesapeake and Natural Resources Committee, Labor and Commerce Committee, and the Public Safety Committee.
